When Gerry Booth started off as ‘G Booth Floor Coverings’ over fifty years ago, our company successfully sold made-to-measure flooring solutions in Wakefield city centre. We then expanded by specialising in beds and mattresses and re-named ourselves ‘Gerry Booth’s Carpet & Bed Barn’.
In 1984, Gerry’s son and daughter, Robert and Jacqui, joined the firm as it diversified once again. As ‘Booth’s Carpets and Furnishings’, we introduced soft furnishings, furniture and made-to-measure blinds and curtains, covering all aspects of interior decoration, as well as running a thriving contract flooring service. Since then we developed into a business that is locally well-respected and can meet the changing needs of our customers who use our services time and time again.
Today we are still based in Wakefield’s city centre, providing our loyal customers with high quality products and friendly customer service. The firm is still run by the Booth family with Robert’s daughter, Harriet, coming on board in 2009. It is our continuing aim to constantly improve our product range and services for all our customers, both old and new.
